Triggers

An integrated SAP® system actively triggers a data transfer in the OPC Router via SAP® triggers. To do this, the OPC Router receives IDocs or RFC calls from the SAP® system and initiates the corresponding connection. A prerequisite is that the SAP® system is configured as an instance of the SAP® plug-in.

The following overview shows the available SAP® triggers:

Trigger	Description
IDoc Trigger	Triggers a transfer when the OPC Router receives an IDoc from the SAP® system.
RFC Trigger	Triggers a transfer when the SAP® system calls a registered RFC function of the OPC Router.
