REST
With the REST plug-in, you can use the OPC Router to both call external REST interfaces and expose your own REST endpoints.
The REST documentation is divided into three sections:
- Basics and the relationship between plug-in configuration and (trigger and transfer) objects
- Configuration of the REST client and REST server
- Using the objects within a flow
Overview
- REST in OPC Router: Structure and Responsibilities
- REST Plug-ins
- REST Client Transfer Object
- REST Trigger
- Examples and Concepts
Brief Overview
- The REST client is used to call external REST interfaces.
- The REST server is used to provide custom REST endpoints in the OPC Router.
- The plug-ins define basic technical settings such as address, authentication, and certificates.
- Transfer objects and triggers define the specific data exchange within a flow.
