Delete File

Delete File Transfer objects can delete files. File name patterns can be selected from a database or specified as constants. You can configure the transfer object directly within the flow as described.

After double-clicking the transfer object, configure the following properties:

Property	Description
Path	Select the directory from which files are to be deleted.
File Name Pattern	Specify whether the file name pattern is passed to the OPC Router statically or dynamically via an item link. File name patterns can use * as a wildcard.
Include Subfolders	If enabled, subfolders are also checked for files matching the filename pattern, and files are deleted if applicable.
Delete Without Restrictions	Deletes all files that match the filename pattern.
Delete files older than	Deletes only files that are older than the specified time period.
