Diagnostic report

If support needs documentation, OPC Router compiles engineering files, database backups, and log files into a single archive. To do this, open the menu “Diagnosis > Application report”.” Select what you want the report to include, then generate it by clicking “Create”; the archive will then be downloaded and can be opened with any ZIP program.

Project Configuration

Option	Description
Export authentication data	Includes the passwords for the connections in the report.
Include devices	Includes device data in the report.
Log files from the last … days	Includes log files from the specified number of past days in the report.

Database Backups

Option	Description
Create runtime database backup	Backs up the runtime database along with the engineering configuration.
Create status database backup	Backs up the recorded status data: events and transfer values.
Create a license database backup	Backups the system's license data.

Configuration Backups

Option	Description
Create configuration backup	Saves the engineering configuration as files from the configuration memory.

warning

When you select “Authentifizierungsdaten exportieren,” the passwords for your connections are exported from the system. Enable this option only if the recipient truly needs them, and then transfer the archive via a secure channel.
