Euromap-77 Plug-in

You can set the following profile properties in the configuration of the Euromap-77 connection:

Property	Description
Name	Any name under which this connection appears in the connection project planning. Choose a name that is clearly recognizable to you!
Client certificate	Select a client certificate from the drop-down menu. Use the plus sign to add another certificate and the minus sign to remove one. Another button allows you to display the properties of an existing certificate.
Endpoint	Enter an endpoint for your connection.
Machine Name	Select a machine name from the drop-down menu.

Create Certificate

Property	Description
Applicant	Enter the applicant.
Application URI	Enter the application URI.
DNS Name	Enter the DNS name of your server.
Validity (Months)	Enter the validity period of the certificate in months.
Application name	Assign an application name for the certificate.
Organization	Enter an organization if necessary.
Organizational unit	Enter an addition to the organization if necessary. E.g., a location or a hall of the organization.

Security settings

Property	Description
Use highest security level	Enable to use the highest possible security level. Alternatively (e.g., in case of connection problems), disable and configure the security settings manually.
Mode	No security = "None", Sign = "Sign", Sign and encrypt = "SignAndEncrypt". Note: This option is only active if the "Use highest security level" option is inactive.
Encryption	Here you can select the encryption method to be used. If unencrypted communication is desired, select "None" as the client certificate and "None" as the mode. Note: This option is only active if the "Use highest security level" option is inactive.

Login information

Property	Description
Authentication	The following options can be selected as authentication methods: Anonymous: Enable if your OPC server allows anonymous logins. Otherwise, disable and enter your username/password. Username: Log in using login credentials
Username	Username for login
Password	Password for login

Advanced

Property	Description
Max Byte String Length	Specifies the maximum length of a string.
Max Message Size	Specifies the maximum length of a message.

Note: Click "Yes" in the "Verify Certificate" window to establish a connection. You can also view the certificate.

Confirm your entries with "Create." You can now select the client certificate in the profile properties.
