Charm Triggers at a Glance

The Charm plug-in does not establish any connections: Both triggers receive messages from the Charm devices directly at the port specified within them.

  • Error Trigger – intercepts error telegrams separately; this requires that the Charm Trigger for the same port does not itself report error messages as transfer errors.
  • Charm Trigger – combines the data source and trigger and provides different predefined measurement fields depending on the device type (EZ, EZ-M, EZ-M2).
