Error Trigger

The Charm Error Trigger initiates a data transfer when a telegram is corrupted. Since the Charm Trigger operates faster than the Error Trigger, the property “Trigger transfer error for corrupted messages” must be disabled in the Charm Trigger for the corresponding port or device. Then, in an additional connection controlled by the Charm Error Trigger, information about erroneous messages can be handled separately—for example, by being transferred to a separate database table.

The individual properties are:

Property	Description
Device Type	Type of Charm reader.
Port	Port on this computer (running the OPC Router) to which the Charm device sends its data.

Confirm your entries by selecting “OK” (Confirm).

In the Charm device, the IP address of the computer running the OPC Router must be specified along with the port number set here. The Charm device must send its data to this address. The OPC Router then performs the transfer of the data in individual records.
