Triggers

The Heidenhain triggers each monitor a data point from the connected controller and trigger the flow as soon as the set condition is met.

  • Bit Trigger – triggers when a logical data point takes on the value 1 and can send a response bit and an error bit to two additional data points.
  • Data-Change-Missing Trigger – triggers when no change in the data point’s value occurs within the set monitoring period.
  • Data-Change-Trigger – triggers when a value changes, limited by relative and absolute tolerances as well as minimum and maximum intervals.
  • Message Trigger – triggers when a numeric data point increments by 1 and can send response and error bits to other data points.
  • Threshold Trigger – triggers when a value exceeds or falls below a specified threshold and includes hysteresis options for resetting.
